| Description | July 12, 2023. Canadian Warplane Heritages famed Avro 683 Lancaster Mk. X, C-GVRA, over Toronto's waterfront from her Hamilton CYHM base. One of only 2 airworthy Lancasters currently, she was built in Canada by Victory Aircraft in 1945 as RCAF FM213, c/n 3414. She is painted as RCAF KB726, Code VR-A, in memory of P/O Andrew Mynarski who was awarded the Victoria Cross posthumously for gallantry and is called the Mynarski Memorial Lancaster. |
