Qatar Executive is showcasing the luxurious Bombardier Challenger 605 at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo, much to aviation fans’ delight.
Breaking Travel News says that Qatar Executive, Qatar Airways’ corporate jet division, is taking advantage of the airshow, which draws over 10,000 major global aviation players, to showcase its product portfolio.
The Challenger 605, Qatar Executive’s jewel in the crown, features the widest stand-up cabin of any business aircraft, luxury reclining seats, a conference table and power points for multiple laptops.
It is just one of six-long range Bombardiers that the airline has paid for and has complete ownership of.
Other notable features in the Challenger 605 include a state-of-the-art entertainment system; comprising of 21 inch LCD monitors, perfect for conducting business proposals on. The whole aircraft also has internet and satellite connectivity, meaning that corporate passengers will never miss a trick, even when it is tens of thousands of feet high up in the air.
Flight tracking enthusiasts can catch a glimpse of the Challenger 605 somewhere between Abu Dhabi and Singapore or from Abu Dhabi to London as it capably flies 11 passengers non-stop.
The showcase comes as Qatar Executive’s base at Doha International Airport is announced as the line maintenance facility (LMF) for other Bombardier Aerospace craft: the Challenger 300, Challenger 604 and Global business jets.
Speaking of the appointment, Eric Martel, president at Bombardier customer services told Corporate Jet Investor: “Maintenance and repair services are central to a positive ownership experience, and we are extremely pleased to extend our relationship with Qatar Executive to support the growing base of Bombardier customers in the Middle East.”
