A Lion Air Boeing 737-800 carrying 101 passengers and 7 crew has crash landed in the sea short of the runway at Denpasar, Bali in Indonesia.

The aircraft fuselage has fractured in the shallow water. Passengers are being evacuated via the emergency chutes. Early reports indicate that there have been no fatalities.

Lion Air Flight JT 904 (callsign LNI904) was scheduled to arrive at Ngurah Rai Airport at 15:16 pm local time but hit the water short of the runway at 15:10 pm.
