First Boeing 787 built in South Carolina takes to the skies

The first Boeing 787 Dreamliner built at Boeing’s new South Carolina manufacturing plant is now up in the skies for the very first time.

You can track the flight live on planefinder.net - http://planefinder.net/flight/BOE237

The flight number is BOE237 and the aircraft is using registration N6067B

The link below shows our flight tracker earlier before the aircraft flew out over the ocean and briefly out of range of our ADS-B network.

The South Carolina 787 should be delivered to it’s owner, Air India, in the next few weeks.

It is hoped that the new Charleston facility will deliver between 3 and 4 aircraft per month once the plant is fully up to speed in late 2013.

We understand that Boeing aims to produce up to 10 Dreamliners in total per month.

Here at planefinder.net we are looking forward to tracking these wonderful aircraft both during their test flights and in operation across the globe.
